Knock Knees

Knock Knees also termed as genu valgum, is a condition when a child stands up with his knees together, his ankles and feet move apart.

Types of Knock Knees:
●Physiologic (normal growth and development)
●Pathologic (Rickets, Multiple epiphyseal dysplasias)

Knock Knees are commonly seen in young children but naturally get corrected around 6-7 years. Excessive pressure on knees, injury or infection in bones, lack of Vitamin D and calcium, and other genetic conditions are causes of Knock Knees.
